Create a photo table runner.

To create this look, begin by gathering your photos and finding a glue stick.

Place the runner in the center of the table and arrange your photos on top of it, peeling off backing paper as needed.

Once you’re happy with how they are lined up, lay down another piece of plastic wrap over them to keep them secure while you glue down each picture individually.

The result is a beautiful display that will add some personality to your table while adding color too!

Don’t worry if some corners aren’t perfectly straight; we promise no one will notice! After completing this step, place a white cloth over top just like usual (but don’t forget about those pesky corners!)

Break out the checkered cloth.

The checkered cloth is an easy way to dress up your table for the summer season.

For one thing, they’re inexpensive and readily available in a wide range of colors, patterns and sizes.

You can also find them at most discount stores and home goods shops, so you won’t have any trouble finding something that fits your style.

And because they’re made of cotton or linen (which are both relatively easy to clean), you can use it again for other occasions besides just summer barbecues or luncheons.

Just make sure you put them away before the first frost!

Use metal buckets as centerpieces

  • Use a bucket to hold flowers.

If you’re having a hard time deciding on the right flower arrangements, use buckets as your go-to centerpiece.

Not only are they great for holding flowers and plants, but they also add an extra element of style to any table.

Whether you choose pretty ones with fun patterns or just spray paint them gold, metal buckets will make your summer table decoration stand out from the rest!

  • Use a bucket as a candle holder.

Instead of using a glass vase for your candles, consider using something more unexpected like metal buckets!

This way you can create an eclectic look with mismatched details and keep things interesting without being too matchy-matchy all over the place—it’s very on-trend right now!

  • Use metal buckets as plant holders.

If you want to add some greenery into your decorating scheme but aren’t sure where else to put it (i.e., there aren’t many good places left!), try using plants inside metal buckets instead!

When filled with soil and topped off with fresh cut flowers or other natural materials such as mosses or rocks/stones; these containers take up very little space while still making quite an impact—what could be better?

Place seasonal fruits in clear glassware.

Go seasonal with your table decor by placing summer fruits in clear glassware.

Take advantage of the bounty of fresh, local produce available to you during the warmer months by setting out bowls of watermelon or strawberries and a variety of cut fruit.

Add flowers or greenery for a pop of color and incorporate it into your summer centerpiece as well.

Incorporate veggies into your centerpiece.

For this centerpiece, we used carrots, broccoli and cherry tomatoes. These vegetables are great for their variety of colors and textures.

They also have different shapes and sizes, which makes them a fun way to decorate your table!

You can also add some blooms if you’d like!

Use citrus as place cards.

To make this happen, you’ll need toothpicks and small knives.

The first step is to write the guest’s name on the underside of their citrus peel (don’t worry if you don’t have enough for everyone!).

Next, cut a small slit in each one so that you can easily slip it onto your table. It’ll look pretty darn cool too!

Put together a succulent centerpiece.

Succulents are a great option for your summer table decoration because they are easy to care for, require little light and water, and they add color to any space.

If you plan on purchasing succulents from a local garden center make sure that they have been grown in the proper environment.

These plants can be sensitive so make sure they aren’t dead before you take them home.

You can also find inspiration by watching YouTube videos on how to care for succulents and what types of flowers are best suited for growing indoors as well as outdoors.
